How to Proforma Tax Return Files

Proforma information will be pulled as you open each tax return

• Set during installation.
• Set through Office Setup. KB 276 How to Enter in The Prior Year Path

Proforma tax return information will appear when you begin a new tax return with the same Social Security number of a tax return you prepared last year. The program will ask if you wish to bring forward the Proforma information when creating the new tax return with the previous-year SSN.

If return was keyed into the current Tax Year without prompting for proforma; enter the the prior year path then use the YTY Transfer option.

1. From within the return
2. Select the Return option from the dropdown menu
3. Click the Y-T-Y Transfer
4. Follow prompts for Transfer Options
