How to Create a Login Account

1. Log into the software as a user with administrator rights.
2. From the top menu, select Setup and Login Accounts. 
3. Click Add to open the Login Preferences window.
4. In the Login ID, enter a unique Login ID. This cannot be changed once created and is used to log into the software.
5. In the Login Name box, enter the name for the login. This entry is informational only.
6. Input the desired password in the Password and Confirm Password sections. 
7. Select the applicable access level from the Access Level box. 
8. In the Preparer Shortcut ID, enter a Preparer ID setup for this user
   • Selecting New will open the Preparer window to input data about that preparer.

     If this user is not preparing returns, no Preparer Shortcut ID is necessary.

Note: For Republic Bank users, enter the RBIN in the BANK ID field at the bottom of Login Preference window. (Republic Bank ID only)
