How to Auto Add State to a Tax Return


Auto Add a State

 

The following steps provided are shown how to auto add a state to a tax return:

1. From the WIP screen,  navigate to setup> office setup.

2. Next, move to the Overrides Tab.

3. There are two options for an Auto Add State Return. Settings can be made to add a specific state, or to use the option to auto add based on W-2 entries.

4. Once having selected the preferred option, click OK to save the settings.
