How to Convert an e-File Return to a Paper Return

Converting an e-File Return

1. To start, open the return.
2. Navigate to the attached Form 8879 on the left side of program.
3. Right click on the Federal Form 8879 and choose Remove form.
   

   

4. Select OK to remove the 8879 .
   
   

5. The Paper File form should attach automatically, and will need to be completed.
    

NOTE:
You will also need to remove any State's e-file forms as well if you intend to paper-file the state return.
