Information on The IRS e-File Refund Cycle Chart

The IRS has discontinued the e-file Refund Cycle Chart.

• Starting with tax year 2012, most refunds are expected to be issued in less than 21 days.
• Even though the IRS issues most refunds in less than 21 days, it is possible a tax return may require additional review.
• IRS Where’s My Refund? should be consulted to ascertain the status of a refund.
