How to Electronically File a State Return Subsequent to a Federal Return

Only transmitting a State Return

A State Return is transmittable subsequently to a Federal Return that had been formerly received.

Follow the list of steps provided below which enables one to proceed with transmitting a State Return

1. Add the state electronic filing form to the return.
2. Correct any FATAL errors.
3. Click Queue button on the toolbar.
4. Select the check box for the state to transmit. Do not select the Federal check box.
   

   

5. Click Queue. The software will refresh to the client list
6. Click Transmit on the toolbar. The software opens the Transmit to Central Site window
7. Click Transmit on the "Transmit to Central Site" dialog.
