Error message: Setup has detected that unInstallShield is in use. Please close unInstallShield and restart setup. Error 432.

A Setup Error

 

In attempting to install or uninstall the software, the following message appears: 

'Setup has detected that unInstallShield is in use. Please close unInstallShield and restart setup. Error 432.'

 

This issue can occur if another program is in the process of being uninstalled.  An aborted uninstall can also cause this error to appear as well.

To resolve this error, restart the computer.
