Removing Remote Signatures That Are Pending

When the remote signature process is not completed, the WIP will show pending remote signatures. If the ERO or taxpayer decided not to use the remote signature feature after the request has been made, the pending remote signature will continue to show on the WIP.

You may remove pending remote signatures by following the steps below: 

1. Open the return.
2. Open Remote Signature.
3. Highlight any pending remote signatures.
4. Press Delete.
