On-Screen signature attempting populates Error regarding Topaz Signature Pad is not installed


Symptoms

You receive the following message when trying to use the the On-Screen Signature option to capture signature for EF Originator, Paid Preparer, or Tax Payer.

’A Topaz Signature Pad is not installed, Please contact your sales representative for more information’

Resolution

  1. Go to Setup.
  2. Select Login Accounts.
  3. Select the login experiencing the On Screen Capture issue.
  4. Press Edit.

  5. In the Signature Pad Type drop-down select On-Screen Capture.

  6. Test function to verify no error populates.
