Error Message: Unable to load module addons/httpcom.dll

Symptoms

• Importing a mobile return from Mobile application retrieval utility -or-
• Clicking Utility > Transfer Returns Online -or-
• Sending an email or text message from the software
  
  ’Unable to load module addons/httpcom.dll’

Cause

Missing Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86)

Resolution

1. On the PC with the error, navigate to the install folder.
2. Open the utils folder.
3. Run the VC_redist.x86 file and uninstall the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable x86.
4. Run the vcredist_x86 file and install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable x86.

5. Re-run the VC_redist.x86 file from the utils folder AFTER installing the vcredist_x86 file to reinstall the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable x86.
