Error Message: Couldn’t CreateDispatch on Excel in Exporting a Report to Excel

Symptoms

When exporting a report to Excel, an error message appears.

'Couldn’t CreateDispatch on Excel'

Cause

There is no software installed to open .csv files, as in Microsoft Excel or LibreOffice Calc.

Resolution

1. Install software that will open .csv files, such as Microsoft Excel or LibreOffice Calc.
2. Return to the software and run the report again.
