How to Print Avery 5161 Mailing Labels
Word (activated license) is required for the following steps.
- From the Reports menu, click Mailing Labels & make a selection.
- Use the Export to Word button at the bottom of the populated window.

- This will open Word with the data ready for print.
NOTE: If the format isn't correct follow steps
1. Set the label that is needed for that print project in the open Word
2. Save the print project
3. Close word
4. Export the report again Â

IMPORTANT:
The software is configured to directly print mailing labels on Avery 5161 compatible labels only. To print other labels, the mailing data is exported to Excel and a mail merge completed in Microsoft Word.
Steps to print Avery 5161 labels
- From the Reports menu, point to Mailing Labels and click one of the following options:
- Mailing Labels -Â Rejects. Select this option to print mailing labels for all tax returns rejected by the IRS.
- Mailing Labels -Â By Site. Select this option to print mailing labels by the site that prepared the return.
- Mailing Labels -Â Self-Prepared. Select this option to print mailing labels for self-prepared tax returns.
- Mailing Labels -Â Paper Returns. Select this option to print mailing labels for all tax returns that were filed by mail.
- Mailing Labels -Â Queued Returns. Select this option to print mailing labels for all tax returns queued by the Central Site to be transmitted to the IRS or state.
- Click Quick View and verify the correct returns appear on your screen. If the correct returns appear, insert your Avery 5161 mailing labels into your printer, and then click Print.
