How to Lock or Unlock a Tax Return

To lock or unlock a tax return

 To alter the lock status of a return, the following steps are provided.

1. Open a tax return.

2. From the top menu, select Return->Lock/Unlock.

The lock status of the return will be toggled:

a. If the tax return was locked, it will be unlocked.

b. If the tax return was unlocked, it will be unlocked.
