How to reconfigure the Hosted TaxClient

Reconfiguring the TaxClient is often recommended when the TaxClient is not running as expected. Important Note: Launching the TaxClient after a reconfigure will prompt the Configure Client window. The USERID and TaxClient Password are needed to relaunch. Refer to the initial email sent by EROSupport or contact Support directly for further assistance. 

Method 1: From within the TaxClient

1. Launch the TaxClient and select the Status button.
2. The Live Link Status window will open. Click on Re-configure.


Method 2: Using File Explorer

1. Navigate to the xlink17g folder using File Explorer.
2. Open the ThinClient Folder and delete the generic.settings file.
