Error Message Prerequisite: Update file missing

Symptoms

When updating the program, an error message appears:

’Prerequisite: Update file missing’

 

 

Cause

This error will occur when trying to apply an update to the program without applying the previous updates. This can happen when the program has been reinstalled and receives a new update without applying previous updates.

 

Resolution

1. Click Transmit from the Work In Progress screen and transmit.
2. Apply updates. Similar errors may appear again but for a new update. If this happens, return to Step One until there are no longer any missing updates.
