Flow of Bank Account Data for Refund Type 5

When the preparer enters Refund Type 5 on Form 8879

The preparer has chosen Refund Type 5 for a bank product; this means the fees for preparation will be taken from the IRS funded return.
How does the IRS or the Bank know how to route that refund??
