Online Program > Setting the In-Office Preferred Signature Capture Method

Follow the instructions below to successfully select your in-office preferred signature capture method when using 1040 Online.  

  1. Login to the 1040 Online program.
  2. Click on the Profile menu dropdown.
  3. Click on Login Preferences located inside the Profile menu.
  4. Select your Preferred Signature Capture Method from the available selections.
    Note: If using a signature pad, the appropriate drivers will need to be downloaded and installed prior to signing. 
  5. Click Save.
    Note: This will save the selected method for this login only.
