How to Reassign a SSN to Another User ID
Reassigning a SSN
To be performed at the Service Bureau or Franchise Master level Dashboard User ID. This will ONLY allow a SSN to be moved within the SVB or Franchise account.Â

The following three points provide how to first unlock a return which is necessary before assigning a SSN.
1. Log into the software at an Administrative level, and click on the Utility menu.

2. Click on Change Tax Return Owner. This option requires the SSN, new UID, and Filing Status. Always assign the SSN to the site creating the return.
