How to Delete a State From a Return

Deleting a State From a Return

 

The following provided steps show two methods to delete a state from a return:

Method 1: Right click the state return and select “Remove State”

1. Open the tax return.

2. In the Attached Forms section, right click the state to be deleted and click Remove State.

3. Click OK to confirm the deletion.



Method 2:  Select “Delete State” from the Return menu

1. Open the tax return.

2. From the top menu, select Return->Delete State.

3. Select the state to delete and click OK.

4. Click OK to confirm the deletion.
