The Manual Status Selection

The menu for the Manual Status Selection can be accessed from within a return by using Ctrl + Z.
Using this feature will overwrite the current status of the return with whatever you select, and the menu defaults to S Suspended from Further Processing.

You are able to remove the Manual Status Selection on the Information and Status page of the return by clearing the status indicator in the override field.

Common Statuses:

A - IRS Acknowledgement: The return has been received by the IRS and are processing the request.

R - Rejected by IRS Service Center: The return is being rejected because either it has already been acknowledged or something needs to be corrected.

Y - At IRS Service Center: The return has been transmitted to the IRS and they have neither rejected or acknowledged it yet.

G - Refused at Central Site: The return needs to be corrected before the Central Site sends it to the IRS.

Z - Completed No Further Action Necessary: The return has both been printed and acknowledged by the IRS (see KB 319).
