Form 1040-ES Estimated Tax Form & Payment Voucher
Use Form 1040-ES to figure and pay your estimated tax. This article provides steps on how to add 1040-ES and how to print the voucher.
Estimated tax is the method used to pay tax on income that is not subject to withholding (for example, earnings from self-employment, interest, dividends, rents, alimony, etc.). In addition, if you do not elect voluntary withholding, you should make estimated tax payments on other taxable income, such as unemployment compensation and the taxable part of your social security benefits.
How to add the form and print the voucher
- From within the return select Add Form
- Double click FRM 1040-ES Estimated Tax for Individuals
- Complete the Form 1040-ES Declaration of Estimated Tax
- From the Print menu select Payment Voucher
