Error Message: "Cannot open clientsignature.pdf from host" When Attempting to Capture a Signature Using The Topaz Signature Pad

Symptoms

When attempting to capture a signature using the Topaz Signature Pad, the following error message appears: 

’Cannot open clientsignature.pdf from host’

  

Cause

This issue can occur if the version of Adobe Reader installed on the computer is not up-to-date.

 

Resolution

1. Navigate to https://get.adobe.com/reader/ and install Adobe Reader. For further instructions see How to Download And Install Adobe Reader.
