Error Message: Tax return already open override lock out While Opening a Return
When opening a tax return, an error message similar to the following appears:
'Tax Return Already Open. Override Lock Out?'
This issue can occur if the tax return is open on another copy of the program on the network, or if the program was not closed properly (for example, a power outage or a computer being turned off with the power button.
If two machines on a network are editing the same return simultaneously, changes made to the tax return can be lost.
