"Refund less Fees too small for RT/ERC" & "Refund amount does NOT qualify for Advance"

Symptoms

The following verify error appear when applying for a refund advance bank application

"Refund less Fees too small for RT/ERC"

"Refund amount does NOT qualify for Advance"

Cause

The field Selected Packages exists at the beginning of the Truth In Lending Disclosures. This field can be used to view the TILD information specific to either the US 1040 Federal return or the state attached. 

The verify errors above are generated when this field is not reflecting either the US or State (ST) initials. 

Resolution

Click in the box directly under US/ST.

The Choices option will appear, use this window to select the US or state. 

Note: Sometimes prep fees can be lowered to get past this error, this can be offered as a possible suggestion.
