Lock/Unlock Malfunction in Desktop Software

 Lock/Unlock Malfunction

In attempting to lock or unlock a tax return in the desktop software, there is no change; the tax return remains locked or unlocked.
A return must be saved before locking/unlocking.

Resolution I

  1. In the Return menu, click Save Return, or simply click the Save icon on the toolbar to save the tax return.
  2. The return will now be able to be locked or unlocked. Click the Return menu, and then click Lock/Unlock.

Resolution II

  1. Close & relaunch the program if Resolution I doesn't correct the issue.
